High Maintenance Chicks

That is funny and sad at the same time.

Funny, because we too have had house chicks and house piglets,...now if you want to hear noise have house piglets...their little squeals are so loud you think your head will explode. :D

Sad because you have lost so many to predators. I sympathize with you my friend but don't lose heart. :D The fresh eggs are worth it and they are so entertaining to watch. :D

House piglets would be a blast ... and not, all at the same time. :) Most of our hens have stopped laying eggs (at least where we can find them), but I still enjoy the few we have left. They are good for keeping insects down, and yes - very entertaining. :) Thanks for your words of encouragement. I hope all is well for you and yours.

You're right, house chicks and house piglets at the same time would be way too much, especially with all my dogs as well. :D Fresh eggs are the best part of having chickens...never worry about running out and you're so right about the insect control. :D

You're so welcome. Everything is well here, thanks for asking. :D

Hope you and all your family are doing great, have an awesome rest of your day! :D
