THE SURGERY WENT WELL
Other then the fact that when I woke up after surgery, apparently I tried ripping the electrodes and IV off of and out of me.π€£π I don't remember any of that or.....
The fact that after that happened I was really hot and ripped my blankets off me...and then my hospital gown as well.π€£ππ€£π What a mess I must have been.
SOOOO...LAZY DAYS?
Yep..per the doctors orders I'm not allowed to do much of anything. And I'm not really trying to, as I simply want it to heal well so I can get back to work here at the homestead.
But for now,I mostly sit in my chair by the fire pit and listen to the forest talk....barefooted and barely dressed of course.
*A view of the cabin from my chair.
I do do house chores and such like the laundry dusting and straightening up the cabin.
But, I do like the language of the woods right now. It is filled with Cicadas chirping, song birds singing...and the occasional "cock a doodle Doo" of our rooster Termie2. The ground is so cool on my feet as I feel any negative forces and energy leave through them. At times they almost tingle, and it makes me smile.
Speaking of smiles, it seems the universe has taken note of my positive mindset and desire to find a perfect soulmate, lover, friend, and helper...at least I hope. As I have met the sweetest, most charming, beautiful young lady...just by chance(or was itπ). It may be nothing, as the universe has yet to confirm it is her. But we've only talked a few times, and already she seems very comfortable with me and I really enjoy listening to her talk and simply seeing her. She also has already asked for my name and phone number.
I tell Evan she is probably just interested in buying jelly from us, but he says he watched a video on how to tell if a girl likes you and that she definitely acts like she likes me.ππ ...So we will see at some point in the future what, if anything, comes of it. I am hopeful, but will not persue anything until my universal confirmation comes, as I do not want to make any moves in the wrong direction.
IN OTHER NEWS...
The dam was not finished by time I had my surgery, so I have finishing that to look forward to after I am healed up. I got it about 3 feet high though and was able to add quite a bit of the reinforcements that it needed. And when I shut the valve and filled it up....IT HELD WATER WITH NO LEAKS OR BREAKS!!!ππππ
A TRIP TO THE BEACH
Since I am unable to do just about anything, I decided to take my family to the lake for the kids to play around. It was a lot of fun and definitely the highlight of my week.
*They have floating playgrounds in the lake...that I didn't get to play on.π
*The kids had a good time building sand castles as well.
