When we bought our cabin it had one single 50 gal barrel attached to the back of the cabin for rain catchment. Water entered the cabin through a PVC pipe from the side of the cabin and fed by gravity. Over time water rotted away a section of our siding. We are now replacing the siding and building a completely revamped rain catchment system.

Hey myalaskandream, Can you possibly check out my most recent post about a sun flare that just happened. It is an X class 10 earth facing and potentially bad situation. We really need to let people know about this. Even if you don't upvote that's fine, but you reach a larger audience and can resteem to get people aware there may be severe issues on the planet within a day or so.
