Finder of vacant houses

in homesteaders •  7 years ago

This little shack is neatly hidden in the woods. If painted a color to match the trees it might not be visible unless you are really looking for it. As I understand it the Matriarch of the family passed away, so the Father of many children did his best to raise them in this little house.

That could not have been an east task. Now I believe that 2 sisters are left trying to sort out who gets the place!

Looks like a place that I'd like to live, if I wasn't married.

Good bones to it. I believe it would accommodate your spouse too. You just might want to remodel before moving in. Lol!

Very atmospheric photo. Really liked it . Brings stories to mind :)

This is a good thing. Perhaps a little story about the house in the woods. Not Red Ridinghood! Lol

Perhaps Red Riding Hood, Hansel & Gretel , or perhaps "Cabin in the Woods" (thriller) :D :D :D
There is no dirth of stories with a quaint ramshackle cabin in the woods :) :D

I can totally see your point! Great thrillers!

:D :D

I like this one a cracking setting! Space for a few veg too :)

Always room for a little garden. Glad you like the setting!

Oh, it looks so sad...

Perhaps now it looks sad, but it has possibilities. That is what I look for. I am so glad you stopped by. Thank you.

When I see places like this, it makes me wish the walls could talk.

So true! I wonder what they would say about this little place? I lie the thought of it being good stories.

This place could be really lovely. Needs a little elbow grease and paint but I think doable. I assume that it must come with a bit of land...nice place for a small homestead.

I doubt the are many walls in this place so fixin it up would a fun project!
