In Bireuen District, or often called the Juang City, there is a hidden waterfall. Ceuraceu Waterfall, that's the name given by the locals. The location is remote and reach it takes skil to descend the waterfall and tired who paid it is certain. i will peel a little about ceureceu waterfall.
Enchantment of natural beauty in Bireuen many are still hidden, one of the goals that I had visited with my adventure friends in the land of the fighters, namely in the district called Pandrah.
not far from the highway Medan-Banda Aceh, in this Pandrah we started to browse some locations. The first meeting with a smooth way through the perforation and to a dam that is in Gampong Samagadeng,
the journey begins again, now a smooth road to live the land from the mountain. Moving from the dam area, we also began to find a herd of forests in the body of the road that passed. about almost 30 minutes wrestled with dust and intense sun, we finally arrived at a place / shack for the farmers of Rambutan fruit plantations.
There was the sound of water and the chirping of birds, and we had guessed the sound of this water was none other than the waterfall. Ceuraceu Waterfall, that's what the locals call it. Our existence was recorded right above the waterfall. Abysmal how to can see the waterfall if it is above, we finally decided to go down.
suddenly the action down the cliff must pass, about 25 meters with steep rocks. This place is suitable also for nature lovers who like to do rock climbing in addition to enjoy the beauty of the waterfall charm.
Finally the pleasure of seeing the waterfall from the bottom up too. although not swift, but the discharge of water that has been released our curiosity.
The journey to Ceuraceu Waterfall is approximately 8 km from the highway Medan-Banda Aceh, with the conditions and road conditions are quite challenging. if not mistaken, the current access road has started good again. Although not so far from the highway, this place is far from the center of the crowds market or other public facilities.
So before moving to this waterfall, prepare supplies as needed. enjoying lunch at the waterfall is also an interesting thing. But remember, do not ever leave rubbish in this place!
