Hatching update : candled eggs

in homesteading •  7 years ago

So I got some pictures of the eggs. They have been cooking about a week. My photographer tried their best.

So it looks like six/seven ducks, and maybe one goose.
It’s still a bit soon, I think.
I did see wisps and floaties in some eggs.

The goose eggs might not be doing so well because they had to sit before I could get what I wanted. They maybe so fragile that you have to incubate them straight away. I will be happy just to get one.
I may contact the person again, to try again.

Well that’s it for now, in about a week I will check them again.

It's been a long time since I've seen eggs being candled. :-)
It looked like a few of them had some growth, but it's harder to tell from just the pictures.

Some are at different growth too.
Some are a few days ahead of the others.
The dark ones are the ones that are growing good/been in the incubator longer.
