A Day On The Homestead

in homesteading •  7 years ago

It's so nice to see someone trying everything they can to live as they choose. It's a shame that many want the same, but aren't will to make the sacrifices required to live such a life.

It is a lot of hard work but very much worth it at the end of the day. We sit back and look over our homestead with satisfaction.

I find it odd you claim to have the time to sit back and enjoy the "homestead" I have a large garden along with chickens and the rest of the yard is heavily landscaped requiring many hours of work. Long hours working outside give us little time to sit back and enjoy it. But even with the irrigation systems and heavy compost and mulch we use to lower the labor involved its still a lot of work. How you have time to spend 10 hours a day on the computer and even take naps is so not believable unless you didn't think ahead and get your firewood or finish your greenhouses or insulate the shacks or get you solar hooked up to the cabin or get rid of the trees that will shade the southern sun from the pit greenhouse. I think I answered my own questions. You don't do anything of value on the trailer lot.

@troyreidlies, Reid is like a greasy car salesman. He will say anything to get you to buy the piece of crap car on his lot.

@areuagardener, I won't down vote these generalized comments, however, what mr Reid shows is ways, not sacrifices, for him to remain unemployable by living from donations from others.

Actually YouTube is a full time job and Google pays my monthly bills. But thank you for your concern for our welfare.

Yea. he works real hard, he puts up a video every 3 days does not edit it, and its only a 5 minute clip...

Working and really bringing in the money you'd do better paying for neck brace chris kid if you would say, " would you like fries with that? " you can do better you can wipe tables like the retards, then dumpster dive to feed the family.

the rest of his time is spent on steem it trying to look like a decent guy which he is not

I just watched today’s 5 minute sit down video. How lazy is this bastard? He loves telling people what he’s done in his boring monotone, but rarely showing anything interesting. T-liar is also very tired, no naps lol. He also whined about the cold. It’s always brutally hot or cold with this joke of a survivalist.

After 5 years of trying to make videos, he still has no idea on how to get the lighting right, making himself look like a creepier version of Lurch from the Addams Family. Apparently he shot a deer and is now going to put it in “storage”, which could be that big chest freezer that he acquired a few months back. That will be run on 100% ON GRID electricity.

Reid made excuses in the video proving he is NOT Off Grid and NEVER was.

He is also OBVIOUSLY grid tied.

The little man blew the side out of another deer today. He will now be ebegging for tweezers so they can recover the deer off the surrounding trees. Maybe some straws for fresh puree.

Oh, he has an idea. He just doesn't care. This is a byproduct of being lazy.

@thediyworld, If YT is your full time job as you claim, shouldn't you have been fired by now?
