Johnny's sells a Mutineer Hoe Handle for $49 plus shipping. I thought that was a little expensive so I decided to try and make my own. I went down to my local Home Depot and bought a handle for about $9.50, a 6" impact bit holder for about $11, and some 5 minute epoxy for about $6. After about 20 minutes of work and $26.50 plus tax spent, I now own a similar tool that I'm sure will perform just as well.

This is exactly what I want to try and build! How did it work?! And how did you attach the bit to the handle? Just insert into drilled hole in wood?
