Awesome thank you!

The woodstove I would like to enter belonged to my grandmother when i was growing up.

It is an old Oakland that has thermometer on the baking oven.

It looks very similar to yours with a few exception.
We currently have all the cast off the top which is in storage because it makes the woodstove so much lighter.

The back of your woodstove is stationary whereas ours closes 👇

We currently use it as a preparation table for dehydrating and vacuum seal food.

Do you have plans to put it back in proper working order? Thank you for playing

Not at this moment. We use another one here that is more efficient for our family. I just really like this one as it reminds me of my childhood and grandma and grandpa.

Wood stove that we use for cooking and heat everyday. Right next to the best seat in the house!

Thanks for playing you're IN!

We have a Kitchen Queen 480 that cooks our food in an oven and stove top. This spring, we will be plumbing it so that it will also heat our water for the house. The Kitchen Queen 480 has a stainless steel heat exchange inside the firebox. The heat exchange uses thermal syphoning (No Motors) to our glass lined hot water tank which then will feed into our electric water tank. We're pretty excited about this setup due to it’s dual purpose cooking and water heating for an off grid homestead.

Thanks for playing you're IN!
