Giving Up On The Wood Chip Dream, Deciding to Burn it AllsteemCreated with Sketch.

I give up, I have decided to just burn up my 7 acre property....

Hello Steemian friends!!!

Over the last 3 years of owning our 7 acre property in central Texas we have waited and waited to make progress clearing our land because we have wanted to rent a wood cheaper and use all of that amazing wood chips as mulch for our garden.

But guess what?? Nothing ever happened! We never did anything and we just delayed and delayed.

Brush Piles

Sorry for the terrible photo, but this is the only image I took of the brush pile. The pile that I am pointing at is one brush pile of over 10 that we have. And there is not point in clearing more until we start burning the brush piles that we have all over.

Now all we want is to sell our suburban house and FINALLY move onto our land in our 700sqft Shed to House cabin!!!! And we can not get the house delivered until we clear a lot more land!

So what is our "Small House, Big Land Living" land clearing tip....

Don't let the BEST thing to do, to be the enemy of GOOD ENOUGH.

Time to burn it up!

Love this Steemit Community!!! Thank you for allowing me to hang with you.

Windy day, eh? Lol
Most of my pile burns have been in snow, they don't usually spread, but when they do you know they are hot!

ooops...

Live and learn. You did a great job heading it off! Be safe!

Well hey, at least everything didn't light up and burn down!

Amen Brother...we had the same dilema and decided to burn to get our property cleared to get our cabin going...'nuff wasted time trying to chip!!! Great post!

Lot clearing is definitely some hard work.
We got ourselves a remote lot, had lots of clearing to do including the old cabin/shop combo; working on getting our building up this summer!
