I WISH I Would Have Known This Before Getting Rabbits

in homesteading •  7 years ago

Our homestead is very small, just barely over one acre. So we have to be very mindful of every addition we make space wise vs the benefit to the home. Rabbits are perfect for smaller areas and off a lot of benefits to the homestead, sales as pets, protein, fertilizer, and fun. However, learn from our challenges and you will avoid some of our pitfalls on your way to bunny nirvana.

You made me laugh so much. We got 4 bunnies some years back and then before they were grown to be rabbits, we moved, a long way a way. So we handed them off to our friends and mostly to their daughter. The tales we heard!

Then we started following Torah and well they're not clean so we've not gotten any more. ... except now I'm thinking hmmm easy to grow dog food! Could I do it? I dunno. I could barely think of eating one myself due to the warm cuddly cute factor.

I quietly follow ya'll about on YouTube. What an adventure you've fallen into!!

Enjoy!
