One thing to keep in mind is not every state allows unschooling! More restrictive states that require standardized testing and school district approval of coursework will not be able to utilize this method. It's these same laws preventing homeschoolers from doing what they want that also restricts school districts in many of the same ways. But thanks for writing this! It was very interesting.
