With the septic system nearly complete I thought I would give a quick update on it. It is what is known as an At-grade system which means the drainage field is on the ground surface. There are quite a few benefits to this type of system some of which I cover in this video. I also look at a few of the other smaller projects I have on-the-go currently.
In a future post, I am going to do a more thorough analysis of At-grade septic systems and also how I might try and integrate it into our permaculture design so stay tuned.

Thanks for checking in and thanks for relaying the pointers on finishing the foundation. I think I am going to do parging over the treated plywood like you explained. I talked to someone else about it as well and they pointed out that once the foam is covered by the plywood there won't be a big rush to finish the parging because the foam will be protected. Which is good because with the winter weather I pretty much have to wait until spring to do it. Plus it will be one less thing I will need to rush to get done.
