Another Gift Fish From Bird - All Cleaned Up

in homesteading •  7 years ago  (edited)

I was taking a morning walk yesterday and saw a bird left me this fish. It is slightly larger than the one from last week. Last week I had to gut the fish first before cooking it. However, it is so amazing that this time the bird had already gutted it for me. All I needed to do was removing scales and cook it.

Looks yummy - How inconsiderate of the bird to not de-scale the fish for you as well - oh well maybe next time. :)

Haha ... that's very funny. I thought about that, too ;)

Are you sure a bird caught a live fish and left it for you?
Or did the fish possibly die from disease or toxins (natural or artificial) contained in the lake and then wash up on the shore where some other creature gutted it. Except for the ospreys and eagles most fish eating birds will swallow the fish whole.

Haha ... I would bury fish I found if I have any doubt. This one was 6 feet above water level on a slope where birds usually enjoy their meals after they catch fish from the lake. Thank you so much for your concern :)

So the bird was helping to feed you. Wow you are very in tune with your surroundings. Very cool.

It's so funny your comment reminds me of I King 17:6 about Elijah fed by ravens, "The ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning and bread and meat in the evening, and he would drink from the brook." I look forward to that day ;-) Thank you for stopping by :)

Mana from heaven. That will be a great day!

Thats very....in tune with nature ;)

Well, Just remember to heat up properly to avoid most bacterial ;)
