RELEASING THE BEES! - Creating A Bee Yard Part 4

The bees had been cooped up in their hives with blocked entrances for close to 60 hours.

They were ready to be released!

After moving the hives I left the entrance blocker boards on for another day. I read that this helps them to re-orientate to their new location.

Not all went as I hoped it would

LOL That went sorta well, sharing to twitter!

That was a little startling when all those bees came out of hive 1! Seems like you would have been stung a bunch of times, but all in all at least the bees now know where home is!

I thought I was done for! LOL You didn't get to see me running to the house like a scared school kid! :)

Kinda cool how the bees renavigated themselves with seemingly no trouble, sometimes we don't give nature enough credit i guess!

Awesome post, looking forward to more bee adventures,I'd love to have my own hives someday.
