The First Red Tomato

in homesteading •  7 years ago

This season so far has produced some very nice Squash, Onions, Berries, Lettuce and some Peppers already. What I've been looking for... anticipating... are ripe tomatoes!

Here is the first red Tomato of 2018

The picture isn't fantastic because it was taken in the evening when the light wasn't great, but wow! Look at that.

I'm hoping this season provides so many many more!

You know it!

That's a big one!

wowww that is a very pretty tomato you have.

I have always grown my own tomatoes and they taste and smell so good, but right now I don't have any room to grow my own, which sucks and I miss it.
Awesome. Enjoy your beautiful delicious tomatoes and thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful tomato, @daddykirbs. It is a blessed fruit as blessed is the land of your farm, giving life to life. Great photo. Greetings and blessings!

Nothing like a garden fresh tomato!

Tomatoes in Venezuela cost almost 2.000.000,00 BsF. 1 kilogram .. so you have a treasure in your hands !! :D
