A good fuel/ alternative to firewoods for cooking

in homesteading •  7 years ago

Good day steemit friends! Its a sunny sunday and the sky is very clear, i hope you too have a good day today.

Im not into drawing now, im just doing my simple day to day happening around here on my yard and take care of my small vegetables garden, but im looking forward to get back on doing some arts, im hoping it will be as soon as im inspired to draw again.

These sky fruit husk of mahogany tree is very helpful, i have been harvesting it to make a good fire for cooking, the sky fruit easily fell from the tree, let them dry for days and then i'll pick it up and no hassle at all.

I sometimes use a ladder to climb up to the roof just to get this dried seed husks.

A full of these on my stove, and its ready to cook anything. The husks also acts as a charcoal, it wont easily turned to ashes just like dry woods do, thats a good bonus on keeping the heat on.

I wonder what others do to this very useful sky fruit husks?
