Hello All,
Perhaps some of you may recall some earlier posts regarding some potato seeds (not seed potatoes) that I managed to process last year?
Here's the 3 related posts on the subject:

Along with some Butternut Squash seeds, I've made a start on getting some of my potato seeds to germinate. As per the Squash instructions on the packet, I've also decided to apply the same methodology by covering the tatty seeds with cling-film too after a good watering.
All this was a week ago and so far the pots have been languishing in the little greenhouse but I doubt much has happened as yet due to the lack off sunlight or warmth.
If/when these little beauties start showing some action, I'll be taking them to my mother's garden for planting along with a load of Scarlet Emperor runner beans. In preparation for the beans, I've levelled the soil a little bit and added 3 cane towers in readiness.
As the old conifer stumps are along the back edge of the plot (and arcing to the front on the right side), the beans will go here, potatoes along the front edge and the squashes on the right near the composter bin (where the tatty vines grew out of last year) and inbetween the remaining conifer stumps.
Also folks, something I don't think I've mentioned before here on steemit; last Springtime I planted a couple of Granny Smith's apple seeds in a couple of large pots. During the course of 2017 the seeds have shown a great willingness to head skywards. One tree has been a little stronger in development but both are showing signs of life again after their winter dormancy though you'll need to zoom in on the pictures to see.
I'll be updating on Steemit as and when there is some news on progress.
Bye for now,
Eggmeister.
Hey! WOW - found it really valuable. Hope my resteem will help you.
