It is a snowy day here in PA but our utilities are still up and running well. Here is a quick look at our solar panels, wind turbine and ram pump all working well :)

Do you get a build up of snow on your solar panels often in winter? And is there any way to prevent it from happening?

i just use a car snow brush and knock it off as needed. these panels will still work even if they have up to 1 foot of unpacked snow on them. generally the snow will slide off on its own at that point. i have heard of people spraying them down with vinegar but i really do not see the point in doing that.

cold n windy here in gettysburg pa today...stay warm Doc. keep up the great work.
happy holidays to you n Addie

thank goodness we have a decent wood stove :) happy holidays to you :)
