For those of you that have not heard of Global Homestead Collective, it is an ever growing community of self reliant individuals around the world. It is built from the knowledge of our members from different backgrounds, and different skill sets.

The Global Homestead Collective was founded by @freedomtowrite, @steemcafe, and @freedompoint. It started with a vision for the future. The ability to connect like minds, and support others.

The Global Homestead Collective (GHSC) had a goal of giving. Giving with the hopes of helping to change lives. Currently with the account @ghscollective we are giving 75% of all rewards directly to community members.

Through delegations from others, GHSC has increased it's Steem Power and ability to gain rewards. With different avenues for returns such as curation, vote selling, or donations.

Recipiants of the transfers are chosen by the discord Administrators and Moderators. Criteria to be chosen is still up to opinion. With guidelines such as discord community participation, ghsc tag use, ghsc footer use. Beyond that would be post frequency, community support, and quality of posts.

If you wish to conrtibute to the growing community, delegations are appreciated and accepted at @ghscollective. Those that donate are given custom footers for their posts. As follows...

Along with the many ways we try to support the community, we also try to stay connected. On discord we come together at all times of the day to chat about different skills, or just life.

There are a number of radio shows that range from finance to animal husbandry. Though life does happen, and shows do change.

Moving forward there is a goal of being able to connect members to other members for direct support and information. Whether it is growing in a garden or crafting with wood.

The future of the blockchain is looking amazing. With the coming hardfork 21 and SMT's, Global Homestead Collective is looking to become the go to community for all things self reliant. An umbrella of sorts. Not to replace the smaller niche communities, but a place to bring them all together. Never to exclude, but always to include!

In the coming weeks we are organizing contests to further support the community. It is going to be a contest for the number of comments on posts using the tag #ghsc. There will be various rewards including SBI shares. Thank you @josephsavage and @katysavage for creating such a wonderful program!

If you are already a member, I encourage you to stay or become active. As life flows, we all have different schedules. Lets remember each other when we can. Also, i encourage everyone to try out a notification service such as ginabot. That way you are all able to see when you are being tagged in posts. This will help everyone stay connected.
