We feed out goat copper. Every spring they get a bolus of copper along with their worming medicine. Goats need copper it helps with fertility. Also prevents their hair getting really wirey and the fish tail look to their tails. There are other reasons they need it as well. Such as helping with the development central nervous system in younger goats. Sorry long story short yes goats need copper and offering it freely is loose minerals is a great option.
