Barn cleanout - workshop, west wall crop April 2019.jpg
The workshop when he started

You may have seen my previous post about cleaning out the barn. My husband has been chipping away at cleaning up his mess out there. He’s been concentrating on his workshop, as most of the stuff belongs in it, but he couldn’t walk in it.

After a week more work, he’s nearly done in there.

He decided to not move the cabinet from the west wall here. He put up shelf brackets to hold his extension cords instead.

You can now see the bench. He still has a few buckets of things and cans of bolts, washers, nuts, etc to sort out.

He’s put many of his power tools back into this cabinet.

You can see this bench again. He’s hung up his larger hand tools where they belong.

The floor is swept and it’s amazing to walk in there. I’d forgotten how much room was in there.

What's most important is if HE likes HIS workshop. Some people are more creative in messy, and that's healthier for them than anal little jars and rows for everything. As long as the workshop FUNCTIONS in a way that pleases him and there are no accidents. :)

If that were true, I wouldn't mind. But he CAN'T function when it's that bad. I really think he was hoping I'd come through and clean it up, as I've done in the past....

This morning my helper and I worked on the west end of the barn and finished that. While my husband contributed to that mess, it mostly had to do with the animals, and I generally clean that up. So 1/2 of the barn is done!

Wow looking great, must feel good being able to get back in the space and use it. I need to sort my shed out as its long over due a tidy
