Succulent Driftwood - DIY Homesteading Series 008

in homesteading •  7 years ago

Today's Feature in the DIY Homesteading Series is a Succulent Driftwood Centerpiece that I Recently Created. Now that I've Added the Finishing Touches of Adding Some Natural Beauty to This Project I Wanted to Share it with you.

The Driftwood Had a Number of Deep Crevices Which Offered the Perfect Amount of Space to Fill with Some Artificial Succulents and Green Moss. And This Still Leaves the Flat Surface on top Availble for Tea Lights if Such Occasion for a Candle Lite Dinner Occurs :)

Here is a View a Bit Further Back to Show that Although the Driftwood is a Rather Large Centerpiece Choice, it Fits My Equally Large Harvest Table Quite Nicely.

Nice piece of Driftwood, judging by the size this would have brought in around $75 at your local Pet store. They would have resold it for $150. Im a Home Aquarist and driftwood is one the most Expensive decor items in the hobby. Especially large Clean pieces.

Wow, I Love Those Numbers Especially Since I Paid $0 for it!

If you access to more Driftwood, you could set up a Etsy site and earn some money.

That will Certainly be on the Horizon! :D

great

Does it need to be watered, or it gets enough moisture from the air?

They're Actually Artificial Succulents and Moss.. I'm a Terrible Plant Mom, lol!
