The stigma of the Bear's lily's pistil.

I have started carrying my tiny macro lens for my cellphone with me when I go for little walks around the yard and visit the animals and gardens. Here are some shots I got! I hope you enjoy them!

Ornamental Cherries. Planted before I considered a "Food Forest"

So those are some of the things that are blooming their tiny blooms or otherwise just getting on with their season. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we had a "second spring" in the fall the way this hot weather has been. I've seen some fruit trees try to bloom right before winter because summer was so long. I can totally see that happening this year. What do you think?

Thanks for stopping by! Love you all!

Those butterfly weed pictures are amazing. I think they'd make a beautiful collection to hang.

I'll tell you what, I'm done guessing what the weather and seasons are going to do. I used to respond to changing seasons. planting the appropriate things at the appropriate time during the spring and summer. Harvesting berries and nuts and roots and fruits. Now I just react to the spontaneous storms and rogue freezes. Checking berry patches weekly so I don't miss the harvest.

Those are fabulous macros! I'm impressed!
