Growing seeds not on soil..Recycle and Reuse.Helping mother earth.

in homesteading •  7 years ago

Merry Christmas Steemers.
I would like to share my fathers idea of planting seeds not on soil instead using sponge to grow seedlings..
I just want to share his knowledge to all steemers and steaders,I See my father a creative and resourceful planter.

The theme of this one is
REUSE REDUCE RECYCLE so we can help mother earth to its changing climate.

This is a SUGAR PEAS seedling or also known ast CITSARO.

The one that my father use for germinating from a seed to grow is Sponge foam.

Instead of throwing old sponge.
Cut it into pieces like square..
And then put the seed on it..

And its like magic itl grow like in garden soil..
Ready to put in a pot.!

Hope you do like it..
You can try it at home and share it to others.
Take a look at some of the pictures.

Wow ang galing😍

That's a very interesting idea to use old sponges for growing seeds.

I will give it a try.

That's pretty awesome and a great use of a used sponge!

So cool. Shows how strong roots are to go right through the sponge. Love this!
