So we thought an overly affectionate rooster was to blame for our girls' lost feathers in few spots.
But he's been gone a couple of months now and there's no sign of the feathers coming back in, and the cold ber months weather is coming.
The patches haven't changed in over a year so i don't think it's an infection of any kind.
Will they eventually come back in and how to protect their skin in the cold weather/if they don't?
Hopefully someone knows whats happening to this girl.
And know someone how to bring back its feathers.

They'll come back once it gets cold. That looks like Mites are suspect.
Natural Dish soap will wash off the mites protective wax coating and oil will smoother them.
