From Tree to Furniture

in homesteading •  7 years ago

Thank you my friend LesDenise Henderson for letting me know about this.

I live on an 8 generation family farm. We are a working timber farm. I use beetle kill and lightening strike pine to make lumber. The mills won't take the beetle kill but the lumber is beautiful. Some of the lumber I use for building outside buildings but I also use it to make furniture. From tree to furniture, its all done on the farm. Here's a few things I've done.

That wood is beautiful. Great pics. Thank you for sharing.

Beautiful! Hope you are well friend!

I love your work! I just tried my own DIY ladder shelf - woodwork can be so satisfying when you see all your hard work sanding and staining come to life in the finished piece. Do you have any tips for a newbie? Is a hand sander a good investment for the part-timer, or just a waste of money and space? Thank you for your help!

My God that work is astonishing... I love ur work

Hi @onyibenson - Im new to steemit, too. I think you meant to reply to the original poster's blog post, but hey, I make things too! Come check out my hand made cement pots :)
