in homesteading •  7 years ago

Hi Again Steemians! Yesterday I planted or transferred this little aloe veras to a new pot. So now I am just giving you an update pictures and share some photos of our plants at our backyard. Gardening really is proven healthy exercise its not only juts having fresh air in our surroundings but also boosts our mood.

I am watering it early in the morning and takes care of it, hoping they grow better as time passes by. Oh I searched through the net that you need to water it deeply, but you need to let the soil dry atleast 2 inches deep before watering so it will not rot.

Did you know that Aloe vera produce offsets or babies, also called "plantlets" that can be removed or transferred to a new pot or soil to entirely grow a new plant

TAKE CARE OF OUR NATURE, THE NATURE THEN WILL TAKE CARE OF US

Aloe vera is used for shampoos right? I enjoyed reading your poat by the way!

I love nature and photography and you took all these very well. When I was a child, it is my love to plant flowers and vegetables in the garden. But I was discouraged because whatever I did they won't grow in contradictory when my mother and sister did. It is the elder's myth that if a person cannot grow plants no matter what he does, no pets last in his hands but as a Christian, superstitious should be wiped out so I don't believe any of these. hehe.

Anyway, I am planning to buy pots. My mother loves to plant flowers in the yard. We have lemon, lemon grass, papaya, rose, daisy, and some other kinds of flowers I don't know. We have many tawa-tawa too that can treat dengue, malunggay, guava tree, palm tree, and more. The only plant we don't have is an aloe vera. So, if we plant aloe veras, are we going to just get its offset not a seed? I need aloe vera because my hair is thinning and it has many benefits. By the way, the grasshopper in the photo makes the quality even better.

We have lots of aloe vera as well. It is useful as it can cure wounds.

I have long been fascinated with flowers but I don't have a green thumb. Love the photos. followed, upvoted and resteem your post.

Inso love the greens @julstamban

nice picss

I love gardening too but I cannot nurture plants...i don't know why...they just bloom then in a month or two they die
