We have a lot to catch up on!
First, the last few days of my sugar-free challenge went by without a hitch - days five, six, and seven were completed without eating excessive amounts of extra sweeteners. I avoided candy and junk food and indulged my cravings with spoonfuls of honey and frozen fruit. Unfortunately I did not continue with my healthier diet after the challenge ended, but it was an eye-opening experience and I did occasionally continue to make smarter choices.
I may wait a little while to try my next challenge but I think I’ve decided to give the Vegetarian challenge a whirl!
Second, my scrap garden is flourishing and I’ve never felt more proud! I have FIVE avocado plants - two that are growing tall and strong, two with roots and short sprouts, and one that is cracked and showing signs of growth.
I've replanted the largest two in bigger pots and they seem to be adjusting well. The one in back (in the green pot) is going to be a gift and I plan on keeping the smaller one!
I have to find new pots for these two - the one in front is quickly outgrowing his mason jar apartment! I will keep you updated on how they do throughout the winter!
Third, I have not been to Wild Rose Acres in the past month. With the weather changing and life getting busier, I simply have not had the time or energy. My visits may have to wait for spring… which may make more sense anyways because I will be able to continue clearing the garden then. However, the mulberries saplings are doing well and I hope they survive the winter!
Fourth, I may be moving soon! My boyfriend and I continued talking about our future together (we will have been dating for 2 YEARS in a few days) and we’ve started looking into apartments. Three months ago, I was debating my choices of future living situations in the article Choices, Choices, Choices… As of right now, I plan to move to City C on a temporary basis - at least to see if my boyfriend and I can still stand each other after living together for a while haha! We do not have a specific apartment chosen yet and no date set in stone, but the gears are in motion.
Fifth, I’ve been spending most of my time trying to set up different cash flows of passive income. One such endeavor is a small, online business which is not very lucrative but has still been taking up most of my time. This is why I haven’t been posting on Steemit lately. I may still post intermittently but I hope it is more frequent than I’ve been managing lately. This also affects my blog’s policy on the Steem earned - I wanted to put 50% of the SBD in savings for a new computer and cash out 50% for student loans. For now, I am withdrawing the savings and powering down (just a little) to help with loans. Hopefully I can continue to put away some Steem in the future to help the homestead.
Finally, Barry the Bee took a small hiatus and got tied up in his travels. However, I hear that he is on his way to the next homestead so I will be keeping an eye out for new articles and updating the PowerPoint so you all can see where he is!
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it) and I'm looking forward to a happy holiday season!

Lovely to have you back in whatever capacity you can manage. Good luck with the move and paying down that debt.
Congratulations on the avocado trees! I hope they keep going strong.

While I like that you share your plans for your SBD I just want you to remember that they are yours, a wonderful gift from the community and that you don't have to justify or feel bad about changing your plans for them. Frankly, paying down/off student loans is one of the most liberating things you can do financially and I think most people here are all about freedom.
So happy to have you back and best of luck with those 'passive' income endeavours.
