I like them! A friend of mine down south has a mulberry tree. Having been introduced to his tree twenty some years ago, I've often wondered why they are not as popular as cherries.
Another fruit you may want to introduce to your land is the Thornless Blackberry. Big berries and tasty too.

    I think part of the popularity problem with them is they stain. But I think the other issue is that they only last 3 or 4 days after you pick them
