I'm strolling in my garden watering then, Bam! Black patches of aphids covering patches of my corn. Horrible, evil ants herding them. A whole ranch had formed under my nose. It was me against thousands. The horror!

Then I remembered something @mamadini said she had done in a previous season in her garden. Ladybugs! That's the answer! I will fight an army with an army.

They arrived the next day, I opened the box to see a whole bunch of sweet ladybugs looking out.

It was Go Time!

I have been giving them misting's of water and will let them feast and get established for a few days. Then wipe off the aphids and have ladybugs around to manage the problem. Crisis averted.

Ahhh, I love ladybugs but am freaked out by things in swarms (including those aphids eeek!). I hope your army eats well. :)

They feasted like it was the end of the world! Thanks for reading @therovingreader!

Great photo narrative too (as usual). Those things were totally out of control.. and icky. Lady bugs just make me smile, what amazing garden friends they are and they totally earn their keep.

Thank you @mamadini! Ladybugs are always good for a smile.
