Stirling engine for home use

in homesteading •  7 years ago

A Stirling engine for home use has been released to the swedish market. With its ability to produce both electricity and heat it is an interesting option for homesteaders, or anybody else trying to live more sustainable. The engine has an efficiency for electricity production of 22-34%, and for heat production of 90-96%. The engine uses wood pellets for fuel and is made as a portable unit. The company that makes them is Inresol and can be found att www.inresol.se.
