Its been rather wet and soggy over the past couple of weeks round these here parts and while it has been a lovely time for all the outside plants we have in the garden beds, its been a little boring for us humans as we have to stay inside.

However, what this does mean is that when we do venture back outside we can find some incredible changes in the growth of the plants we have been tending to on a regular basis.

This can also mean we find some interesting surprises that were not there before at all.

These batches of mushrooms have come up in the grass in a few spots around our yard, this is the more impressive arrangement.

Now i wouldn't be going around picking these and putting them in my salad, but they are most certainly interesting and quite beautiful to look at close up.

We will just leave these guys be and let them go through their standard life cycle enjoying the wet weather while its about, but eventually we will be heading through with the lawn mower to trim the yard back.

Oh!... they’re so pretty!
It’s a pity they don’t live long.
Love mushrooms 💜💜💜

Those aren't magic mushrooms are they? Kinda look like liberty caps. Hard to tell for sure with them though.

Wonder if they turn blue if you pinch the stems? A proper scientist would find out.

Until then they remain LBMs: Little Brown Mushrooms.

i have no need for that kind of interaction with the psychedelic beings at the moment, besides wouldn't wanna end up push'n lil daisies now would we ? lolz

nah i don think so , the special shrooms we get round these here parts are a bit more stringy, the caps are much smaller, and more bell shaped.
