Okra fresh from our Garden

I didn't go out at the garden for less than a week and pick okras and now they're old and tough to eat.

I harvested like a quarter and think maybe I can let it dry and collect seeds for me to plant for next year.

Oh well, I found out that the best way is to let the seed pods dry on the vine and wait when it begins to split and then you can collect the seeds as per my friend.

I'm glad that I haven't picked them all and we'll see if I can have seeds for next year. Thank you Lord for this abundance. Yes for healthy a meal.

Have a great weekend. Until next time. 😊

Hey, @mhegan your post is very good and inspiring. Okra is one of my favorite vegetable. And I see you got a plenty.

I have compiled a FAQ for okra growing. You might find that helpful. Here is the article.

Thank you.
