I discovered this property years ago. At one time, it was a beautiful queen ann home. As I got more involved in this neighborhood, I continuous gravitated towards this property. Eventually, I was able to track down the owners, who lived out of state and worked out a deal to purchase it. Life has sent me on a few tangents but I'm hopeful to get started on restoring this home to it's formal glory within a few years. At one time, I envisioned turning it into a B&B. As I've gotten more involved with the neighborhood, my plan has changed. There is a need for a location in this neighborhood to provided general social services. My plan is to create a one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor and the 1st floor will be available as a community center. Providing various services like a tool share shed, parenting classes, nutrition classes, etc.
When I saw the contest for #aswcontest "abandoned shit" and the theme is interior, I immediately thought of this property.
Everyone should check out @customnature "abandoned shit" contests.
