Hello guys come back with me pamodip this time i will show how my arowana fish care.

Every aquarium, preferably there is only one Arowana (solitary), because it is not easy for an Arowana to coexist with similar fish. To get Aryan fish quality and healthy of course needed in aquarium conditions that are almost the same as the original habitat. Food should be enough and given regularly, water quality is also well controlled and given medication
so as not to be contaminated by toxic chemicals.

Aquarium Condition
Anyone who keeps arowana would proudly put his fish in the best quartet. In order for that elegance to reflect maximally, then only an Awana in an aquarium. Do not put the aquarium near the wall (wall) let alone stick. Because if Arowana saw an insect like a cockroach or lizard on the wall, it will jump and plastered the aquarium glass wall, so it can wound. Calculate a large aquarium with large fish, so that fish can move freely and glide in the room enough. Give adequate lighting. To control the water temperature (27-30 degrees Celsius), you should install a thermometer on the wall of the aquarium and the end is immersed in water. Measure pH at least once a week.
Background / Background: Aquarium is recommended using background in the form of picture / sticker / paint. Color according to taste. Most hobbies use background color according to the type of arowana that is maintained, for example:

Feeding

Although there is no standard, arowana should be fed 3-4 times a day. It takes 8-10 cicadas a day. Before given, the rear legs of jagged crickets are cut first, so as not to scratch the arowen esophagus. It should be endeavored that food is not left in the aquarium. Crickets, centipedes, cockroaches and shrimp, contain carotene and chitin that can give the effect of beautiful scales, bright and shiny on arowana.
Water quality
In addition to temperature and pH, the water quality is also maintained by removing the sewage from the waste of the fish itself and the rest of the food. With a sieve, dirt can be removed, while the dirt that settles at the bottom of the aquarium is sucked with a hose. Doing it should be slowly so that the fish do not stress due to the water shook great. Every three months the aquarium is totally depleted and the glass must be free of moss, and soap the aquarium walls and when it is, dry with sunlight, to keep the fungus and seed disease off. The new water in the aquarium should be precipitated 24 hours before the fish is put back into the aquarium. The oxygen content in the water should be maintained by installing the aerator which also functions as a pump and a sieve filter.
Combine Arowana in One Aquarium
The ideal two arowana mixed as a child. However, when adults can generally provide aquarium provided a glass screen. If both fish look angry by opening the mouth wide, it means they do not get along. If in a week there is no change, meaning they do not match. Take another fish, do the same, if it does not show anger, it is suitable, slowly removing the bulkhead. Watch carefully. If both are not chasing each other. That means they can live in peace.

Feed
makanan.jpgEvery week, an arowana is given an additional 2-3 lizards that are not too big and every two weeks are given three centipedes. This centipede or centipedes includes arowana's favorite food, so it should be careful to give it. If every day given centipedes, then Arowana will be reluctant to eat crickets or toads once. He just wants to eat centipedes.
Arowana actually also eat cockroaches, lizards, larons or grasshoppers, as a cricket interlude. However, Arowana should not be too often given lizards, eyes are not glaring or poking out.
In order for Arowana to stay healthy and quality, which is no less important is to keep the aquarium water clean and healthy fit for arowana habitat. Therefore, it takes some medicine to purify water and keep the aquarium condition suitable as arowana habitat. These medicines are generally packed in finished form, so they can be purchased directly in the ornamental fish trader and mix it into the aquarium water according to the recommended dosage.

Disease
The cause is divided into two, namely nonparasiter and parasiter organisms. Parasitic organisms that originate in viruses, bacteria, fungi, worms or protozoa. Medium nonparasiter such as environmental factors, food and offspring. But in reality, the attacks of both types of disease are difficult to distinguish.
There are characteristics of arowana fish that attack the disease, both the result of parasiter and nonpasrasiter, which is seen passive and weak, tend to swim in the water surface, decreased appetite, difficulty breathing, fish body is not slippery, because the mucous membrane is reduced, arrested. Another sign, on the chest there is bleeding and scales damaged, dorsal fin back.
Environmental factors that cause sick fish, among others, the pH of water. This water pH fluctuation is influenced by many things, such as the presence of CO2 gas in water. Then a sudden change in water temperature also greatly affects the health of the fish. In addition, the decrease in the amount of oxygen in the water and the presence of toxic gases
such as CO2, ammonia and water pollution will also interfere with fish health. Then the factor of food, as already mentioned above, giving fresh fish food will be risky, because fish can bring disease. Then the heredity factor also brings trouble to arowana, such as the scales are not good, the back is not straight or albino and conjoined twins.
Parasitic organisms can cause symptoms of fish louse infections, gill gills, white spots, smallpox and tuberculosis, infected with fungi Saprolegnia and Achlya, bacteria damaging fins and itching diseases.
When we see how beautiful and graceful the Arowana fish is in the aquarium, especially when he chases his prey, we will be fascinated and amazed. But for that, arowana also need careful and careful care. Because many types of diseases are ready to "pounce".

However, an arowana fish hunting centipedes in the water is an interesting attraction in your aquarium. Because centipedes are able to move very fast though in the water, then the arowana must also show the '' skill "hunting food. He will twist and push the centipede, until finally able to catch and swallow it.
Arwana also want to eat live fish. Generally in Indonesia given goldfish and sepat that still tillers. But be careful, because it is not impossible fish carry bacteria and the disease will also infect arowana. Dead shrimp are preferred arowana, but for maintenance in the aquarium, should not be given, because it will make the water aquarium cloudy and the rest of the food will be easy to rot and cause disease for arowana.
In order for Arowana not cross-eyed do not spread the food at once into the aquarium. because it will confuse arowana and his eyes will stare in all directions. Give a cricket or centipede one by one, so the fish will only hunt one prey only.
