WHATS IN YOUR WALLET? OR YOUR POCKET, PURSE OR BRIEFCASE?

Yesterday @stnwllstrtgc created an interesting post about EDC; your everyday carry items or pocket dump. His post can be found here: https://steemit.com/steemsilvergold/@stnwllstrtgc/everyday-carry-pocket-gear-20171113t192222219z

I found it quiet interesting, and being the guy I am, I love being prepared, or at least having what I consider the essential tools and gear I need in case of a situation. So I pulled all my items together and dumped them (Not literally! I do not need a negligent discharge in my house. Try explaining that to the wife when she gets home!!) all out on the table and then I got to thinking. I have two separate EDC gear lists! I have one set up that I use specifically on the farm while I do my daily chores and then I have another one for when I leave the farm and "go to town."

While I am a gear junkie, I am not about obtaining items that cost the most or what is trending in the EDC communities. Now granted, getting a brass Knuck would be a pretty cool addition, to me I do not find it logical to be incorporated into my gear list. I go for what works, what is durable, and what is in my budget. So if I find something that happens to be at an automotive store or home improvement store that fits my needs and I can implement it daily, then I will pick it up.

Below is my gear list for on the farm.

Black Hawk SERPA Holster
Military Vehicle First Aid Kit (This sits in a pocket on my Garden Tractor)
Casio Pathfinder Watch
Dog Tags with can opener and USMC Challenge Coin
Kobalt Pliers (Slip Joint or Lineman)
Wells Lamont Leather work gloves
Toughtested Battery Pack (This sits in a pocket on my Garden Tractor)
Toughtested Micro Charging Cord (This sits in a pocket on my Garden Tractor)
Bic Lighter
Police Micro Light
Metal Military Pilots Pen (Black and Red ink with Pencil Lead)
Sharpie Permanent Marker
Kobalt Folding Razor Knife
Pocket Pistol Magazine Holder (Self made)
Springfield Armory XDs .45ACP with Extended Capacity Magazine
Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff
Gerber Fixed Blade Knife
Cab Cadet Keys with Gerber Folding Pocket Knife
iPhone 6S with Lifeproof Battery Case
Toughtested Headphones
CCI Shotshell .45 ACP (In the chamber)
Hornady Critical Defense .45 ACP
AKASO 4K EK7000 Sports Camera

What is not shown is the 550 cord, duct tape and electrical tape that sits in the seat pocket of the tractor.

Now when it is time to head into town, this is my load out:

Black Hawk SERPA Holster
Casio Pathfinder Watch
Dog Tags with can opener and USMC Challenge Coin
Toughtested Battery Pack (Sits in an ammo can in the truck)
Toughtested Micro Charging Cord (Sits in an ammo can in the truck)
Remington Wallet
Bic Lighter
Police Micro Light
Metal Military Pilots Pen (Black and Red ink with Pencil Lead)
Sharpie Permanent Marker
Kobalt Folding Razor Knife
Pocket Pistol Magazine Holder
Springfield Armory XDs .45ACP with Extended Capacity Magazine
Smokey Mountain Herbal Snuff (I dipped Copenhagen for 25 years and quit, this is my oral fix)
Nite-Ize Carabineer with truck and house keys, Xikar Cigar Cutter and USMC BIrthday Ball Coin Bottle Opener
iPhone 6S with Lifeproof Battery Case
CCI Shotshell .45 ACP
Hornady Critical Defense .45 ACP
Business Card Holder with another bottle opener (Not shown is the thin folding razor knife on the other side.)

Not shown in this photo is my pocket sized package of Quick Clot.

So there you have it folks. These are my carry items.

Please feel free to post your EDC/Pocket Dump items for the farm, cruising the town, or going to work? Please keep in mind that if you do not post due to OPSEC (Operational Security) or privacy concerns, I totally get it.

What is your favorite item? For me I have to have the phone and headphones. If I am cutting grass, plowing the garden, or here really soon plowing/throwing snow, I keep one ear bud in my ear in case my girl's school calls me.

As always, have a great and blessed day and continue to help each other grow in knowledge.

Awesome! Looks like 2 solid loadouts... That bottle opener coin is very cool. I don't carry any of my challenge coins regularly because I don't want to lose them!

Thanks for posting up a solid EDC breakdown, it will be cool if we can get the everydaycarry tag some activity!
