Pleasant Walk in The Woods and Harvest of Suillus Mushrooms

in homesteading •  7 years ago

Suillus Fungi is a very popular mushroom all around the world ( Europe, US, Canada, Russia, Asian countries etc). Usually it grows in a time period from mid September to the end of October.
For me and my family it is a great pleasure to do mushroom hunting in autumn weekends - it is healthy, it is fun and you get a lot of mushrooms that you can use for your homestead. There is a big variety of tasty dishes with Suillus and of course you can preserve some of them for the winter.
Here is our catch from the last week.

I've always wanted to go morrell mushroom hunting. People around here look forward to it and 'brag' about what they found. It looks fun!
