We are back to making videos again after a short little break. Here's an update of how things are going in our little 12-acre world!

Here's the link to our first acorn article here on SteemIt (second one coming soon!): https://steemit.com/foraging/@slhomestead/acorns-from-field-to-table-part-1-foraging

Here's the link to the FREE download of the entire Humanure Handbook: http://humanurehandbook.com/contents.html

What are your fall-to-winter activities looking like on your homesteads?

You make that braiding look so easy! I'd probably have to practice with multi-colored strands of something to follow the pattern. Looks yummy!

Giggling at the chickens 'talking' and you for getting such an obvious kick out of 'em. Fun vid!

Good solution to all the oak leaves!

Michelle is super talented when it comes to making food of all sorts. I am glad other people get to see how talented she is. Maybe I am a bit biased, though. ;)

As a side note, we always appreciate your comments. So encouraging to us.

You can tell she loves working with it. It definitely comes through on the videos. You're supposed to be biased, btw. It's somewhere in the spouse handbook, I'm sure. At least that's what my hubby tells me. ;~D

Thanks for your kind words! I get to experience homesteading vicariously by watching all the things y'all are doing, most of which are out of bounds on my dinky suburban lot. Thanks to y'all I'll never look at acorns quite the same way again!
