Saturday my wife and I took a trip to the state fair in Sedalia, Missouri.  The weather was perfect for being outdoors checking out all the sights and sounds of the fair.

At our first stop we checked out the demonstrations by the blacksmith school.  They were making custom items for their customers while they waited.

After Checking out the blacksmith demonstrations my wife wanted to see the some of the animals.  She loves pigs so we headed to the pig barns to check them out.  When we arrived she was dissapointed to see that only two pigs remained in the barn.  After petting the pigs and talking to the owners for a bit she was ready to head to the poultry building.  Pictured below are some of the Grand Champion chickens.

Here are the turkey, duck, and goose Grand Champions.  The grand champion goose was photo bombed by the reserve grand champion lol.

Next we went to the sheep building.  We spent some time there talking to the owners of the sheep about the different breeds and what the best use of the breeds were.
