If you're like me, you tend to put maintenance jobs off for as long as possible around the homestead. As long as things still work, I kind of ignore the mounting problems. I know that I shouldn't, and I'm not proud of it, but I would rather spend my time working on getting all of my new ideas and projects started. Eventually, though, things fall into such a state of disrepair that they no longer do their job or they become such a hassle that it finally gets my attention.
Lately, I've had several of these attention-grabbing repair projects building up, so I decided to devote an entire day to marking them off my list.
