Here in Northern Arkansas, planting anything out into the garden before at least mid April is a pretty big gamble. I don't like to take that gamble, but there are a few things that just have to be planted earlier than I like. Potatoes are one of those plants.
This year, I planted some purple potatoes in the Minecraft Raised Garden Bed. I don't have a very good track record with root crops, so I was super excited to see those purplish-green leaves poke up from the soil. "The gamble is going to pay off", I thought to myself... but then, I crapped out.
Are my potatoes going to make it?!
