Join me as I do the morning homestead chores, caring for chickens and working in the garden. The chickens come running to meet me as I bring them food and water each time. It freezes here during the summer nights so I have to cover the plants at night and remove the covers by day.

I reworked my reclaimed lumber end table that I had made a while back. I took it apart and planed the wood again because it had warped in the house due to curing a bit more inside. Then I used a router on the edges of the end table to give it some nice style and curves.

Then I put it all back together again and gave it three coats of varnish. It is starting to look very nice now.

I also worked on some homemade pallet wood coffee coasters. I cut pallet wood boards and then burn images into them. Then I varnish them for protection.

I also worked on some light houses that I had made earlier. These were laser burnt and then cut out. Then put on a hill made out of wood. And then painted. Some of these I will improve with stones as boulders and fish hooks as anchors.

I worked in the off grid wood shop a bit, organizing things. This is a fully solar powered wood shop and the solar panels run anything I need out there.

My recycled pallet wood products are made using solar power. That is pretty cool.
