Security FeedssteemCreated with Sketch.

In a rural area, it isn't unusual to see a "feed store" here and there, selling feed for animals. However, I have no clue what the word "security" is doing in the name of this business... perhaps they feel their products are so superior to that of competitors that their customers will have an increased sense of security for the welfare of their animals?

In typical manner when I have a question, I did an onlline search for "security feeds" and found nothing but things related to security of the Internet or the Patriot Act. Even refining the search to "agriculture +'securityfeeds'" yielded nothing that was more enlightening. So, we'll stay with the "better quality = security" explanation! 😁

I think it has to do with the fact that you can trust the feed you are purchasing is good feed. Feeling secure that you have purchased good quality feed is my guess about the name.

Hey! Thanks for popping-in! We have missed you, and hope things are going well!

I can't help but think that they're selling security cameras and such as well.

Great texture on the image! I like it!

Perhaps it has something to do with food security, i.e. that there is feed?

Maybe Jesse thinks that "security" has a different meaning than everyone else does. I was wondering about the orange-ish thing on the left. Is that a horseshoe or a bowlegged cowboy's pants?

I think the orange thing is meant to be a horseshoe, yes!

Uh, if they sell dog food then probably it makes sense...feeds for security (the dog)...

Interesting name @thekittygirl. I too would wonder, perhaps its a family thing? :) I guess they just wanted to have a catchy name to attract visitors.

Maybe it is the brand name of the business? Made by someone more adept at feed storage and selling than branding?

I'm digging this old barn project of yours. The barns are interesting and beautiful, and your photos of them do them justice. Great enhancements. You have a gift with color. And "security"? Maybe it refers to food security if you raise your own? Interesting question.

Thank you! I am so glad you like the Old Barn Project!

Yes and what is the other symbol? Kind of a magnet looking thing, or is it meant to be a door?

I think the orange thing is meant to be a horseshoe. Maybe. LOL

LOL...That's interesting!

Maybe you'll feel more secure after you feed your animals.

Interesting question - using "security" in the name of a feed store. And I think the orange thing looks like a bow legged cowboy's bottom half, lol.

Here here! lol

I think they are all good talking about the products LOL! maybe talking for investment like steem. Thank you @thekittygirl STEEM ON!

Hhhmm, that is an interesting question! I've seen feed stores before, as well, but never any with added "security". ;)
