Amish Cut Cedar Posts

Eventually all the fencing on our farm needs to be replaced. However, the cost adds up so we can only do it in small increments. This year we are focusing on a 1.5 acre pasture that we've leased out the previous 2 years to our neighbor to grow tobacco in. The fencing in that area was so poor we couldn't use it for livestock. This is the only area of our property that the fencing was completely useless, so it's the first area we are focusing on.

While pricing out the cost of posts for the corners and gates, we couldn't believe the cost. And the quality was poor! We decided to stop by a local Amish friend who owns a sawmill and get a quote on some sturdier posts. Not only was his cost cheaper, but the quality is amazing!

Check out these beautiful, Amish cut cedar posts he prepared for us! These are all roughly 8" x 8" posts that are 8 feet long! They are beautiful and smell great too!
