Eating My Pineapple That I Grew and Replanting the Top

Good morning, Steemians

I'm in a good mood this morning because I just ate half of the pineapple that I just harvested the other day that I grew.

It was super sweet and delicious

Not like the pineapples you get in the store where it could be that it didn't ripen correctly or it wasn't very sweet

So, I cut off the top and peeled back a few of the layers until I found some roots and then stuck it in the ground

Pineapples can be grown almost anywhere indoors in a sunny spot and then during the summer they can be taken outside where the temperature won't reach freezing.

I hope you enjoyed, and thanks for stopping by, Steemians! Have a good day!

What a cute little pineapple!

lovely pineapples .

Your idea is very good and fun :)) I will do the same

Oh I bet that was delicious and smelled heavenly :) I have several planted that are perhaps a year old, so sometime during the next year mine should start to come on! I can't wait :D :D

:D I have another one that will be ready in less than a week! A bigger one! I also can't wait!

LOL I know your joy and anticipation....enjoy!!

Bon appétit !

upvote all the pineapples!

Nice! I tried this a couple times as a kid, but lived maybe too far north for it work well. The first baby pineapple took 7 years and I had no idea when to harvest it, so I was either too early or too late and it was not good. Still fun!

Ahhh well you tried. Indicators of it being ripe are color change and smell.

Looks really yummy @vegansilverstack!

It was!
