Hi everyone!
Welcome back for a new episode of my #Homey-Project!
Few days ago we received all the permits to start building our family house (First Episode: The Beginnings), and we cleaned up the land by the garbage deposited here in the last 20 years.
Now we made the next step, we got an excavator and did all the diggings. Actually not all, as some manual work was also needed to finalize the preparation of the land. Part of the paperwork, we were requested to have a Geotechnical Investigation on our land, which showed that we have at least six meters of clay.
As we are building a house with one floor plus attic, we were requested to dig the foundation at 1.5 meters bellow the ground level (to be continued by other 40 centimeters above ground). I know this sounds a lot, but we decided to have a very strong structure for the place we want to call home for the next 50 years...
The site is ready for the first layer of concrete, which is planned for today:
Our homey starts to take shape, and we are eager for the next steps!
Congrats you won the daily Gogreenbuddy upvote worth roughly 50 cents! Keep writing like this and you will keep winning!
