Hate speech is hate speech, a word can not be hate speech and it actually doesn't matter what the word is, speech can only be hateful if the intent behind it is to hate.
I can call you a dog and that could be hate speech.
I can call you a cuckold as your friend.
If you de-contextualize words and pretend it always has the same meaning, then you're just misunderstanding people, doesn't make them any more or less hateful.
