وعن الانتقادات التي تعرض لها مدرب الفريق كوفاتش، مؤخرًا، أوضح: "نهج الصحافة عبارة عن نكتة، نحن بالفعل ننتقد لاعبينا، لكننا لن نسمح بهذه المعاملة لهم من قبل وسائل الإعلام".

وحول تصريحاته ضد اللاعب الألماني مسعود أوزيل، قال: "بعد المباريات يكون هناك حالة انفعال سريعة، أعترف أنني اخترت كلمات مبالغ فيها".
