I went to HongKong last month. Now here is so dangerous because of demonstration , but this place is really beautiful.
I have stayed Hong Kong for 6 days as a trip. To be honest, I cared about that my flight could arrive there and leave but no problem.
Many people are angry with the government but not angry with you so If you come to the place which is held demonstration, you are safe, I think.
Maybe demonstration is held every Sunday and it is on live on Youtube and Twitter, so you should check where is it and escape from there.
